MEGAN RIVERA

VICE PRESIDENT & COFOUNDER; UNITED STATES

Oversees Outreach including school and community programming.

Megan (she/her) obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science and Education from CSU, Chico in Fall 2019, and is currently an agriculture teacher at Thomas Downey High School. She's been here from the start, and the desire to keep it going was something that has excited her and she is even more excited to see where it goes!

Agriculturalists are called to be stewards of the land. Combining both passions for education and agriculture, Megan is excited to use her career to engage the youth to grow with and in agriculture, to create a more efficient, sustainable future. We need to take care in the way that we develop our lives to protect our Earth.

Fun Fact! While working in agriculture, she has found her biggest passion to be in the swine industry! In fact, while at Chico State she lived and worked at the University Farm at the swine unit and served as the Head Herdsman."
